Three neighboring communities are turning a major milestone into a hometown celebration this weekend.

Residents from Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe will come together Saturday, July 11, for America’s Birthday Parade, a day of music, food and history honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception School, 257 White Plains Road in Eastchester, before making its way to Lake Isle Country Club. After the parade, festivities continue from noon to 4 p.m. with a barbecue, live entertainment and a public reading of the Declaration of Independence.

The event is organized by the Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe 250th National Anniversary Committee, which has been coordinating community celebrations throughout 2026.

The celebration continues into the evening in Tuckahoe with a Summertime Fireworks and Tribute to America’s 250th Anniversary event at Parkway Oval Field from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The night will include live music, a DJ and fireworks.
