Westchester County Judge George E. Fufidio is seeking one of three New York Supreme Court seats in the Ninth Judicial District on Nov. 3.

The state’s amended certification lists Fufidio on the Democratic and Republican lines. He is not listed on the Working Families line.

Five candidates are competing for three seats. Voters may choose up to three candidates in the district, which includes Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.

Fufidio’s campaign biography says he began serving as a Westchester County judge in 2018 and as an acting Supreme Court justice in 2022.

His earlier career included work as a Westchester assistant district attorney, an administrative law judge and a criminal-defense attorney in private practice, according to the campaign.

The biography lists a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a law degree from the University of Miami. It says he has been admitted to practice in New York and Florida.
