Talking about money can get complicated fast — from investing and taxes to negotiating a raise or paying down debt. A Scarsdale library event next week will bring two financial voices together to break down those topics for a local audience.

Haley Sacks, the creator behind the 1.3-million-follower Instagram account “Mrs. Dow Jones,” will appear Tuesday, July 14, at Scarsdale Public Library for a conversation with CNBC anchor Sara Eisen.

The discussion will focus on strategies for building wealth, including investing basics, increasing income, managing debt, tax planning and preparing for the future. The event is tied to Sacks’ new book, “Future Rich Person: The New Rules for Building Wealth,” which was published in May and became a New York Times bestseller.

Sacks is known for explaining financial concepts in a more accessible way for younger audiences. She has been named to Fortune’s “40 Under 40” list and hosts the “Financial Tea” podcast. Eisen co-anchors CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” and has covered markets and business news from the New York Stock Exchange.

The event is hosted by the Friends of the Scarsdale Library and runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library, 54 Olmsted Road. Tickets are $50 and include a copy of Sacks’ book. A $125 option includes the book and a Friends of the Scarsdale Library membership.

The program is open to anyone interested in learning more about personal finance, from young adults starting out to longtime investors looking for a refresher.
