Westchester lawmakers will weigh two funding requests Monday: fixing chronic flooding on Ardsley's Powderhorn Road and rehabbing the pool at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.

The Infrastructure & Housing Committee meets July 13 at 10 a.m. in the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains. The committee will also take up a Briarcliff Manor petition to join the Saw Mill Sewer District.

Ardsley has dealt with recurring flooding around Powderhorn and Captain Honeywell roads that's caused property damage and safety concerns, according to a 2025 village resolution. The county would cover half the project cost under its standard stormwater cost-share program, with Ardsley covering the rest — the village board already committed to its share. Planned fixes include new catch basins, curbing, repaving and drainage pipes.

The county-run pool, which hasn't had a major renovation since 2011, would get a rehab under a separate bond act. No dollar amount has been made public yet.

Watch the livestream, or attend in person at 148 Martine Ave., White Plains. If approved, both bond acts would head to the full Board of Legislators for a final vote — no date set yet.
