Eastchester's Garth Road Summer Concert Series brings a free night of classic rock to the neighborhood Saturday, Aug. 15, when the Live for the Music Band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. on the basketball courts at Garth Road Park.
The Town of Eastchester's official concert flyer for the same band was produced for a Wednesday, Aug. 12 installment, describing the group as a tribute to Bad Company that delivers "the powerful sounds and spirit of Bad Company." The band's set list includes "Feel Like Makin' Love," "Can't Get Enough" and "Rock & Roll Fantasy."
The show is free and open to all ages. Attendees should bring a chair or blanket; food will be available for purchase from local restaurants on site.
The Garth Road Cooperative Council and Better Homes & Gardens Choice Realty co-sponsor the series, which has featured bands on both Wednesday and Saturday evenings throughout August. The series continues Wednesday, Aug. 19, when the Seeing Red Band performs at the same location at 7:30 p.m.
