Boniface Circle will close to through traffic for three days starting Thursday, July 30, as the Scarsdale Business Alliance brings its annual Summer Sidewalk Sale back to the Village Center.

The sale runs Thursday, July 30, through Saturday, Aug. 1. Local merchants and visiting vendors will set up outdoor displays along Boniface Circle, rain or shine, according to a press release the Village Manager's Office issued Wednesday, July 23.

Saturday's schedule adds free family programming from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including live music and children's entertainment.

Road closure and parking

Boniface Circle will be closed to through traffic for the full three days. The Village is directing visitors to three parking options nearby:

  • Woodland Place — 2-hour and 8-hour parking
  • Christie Place Public Garage, 1 Christie Place — 4-hour parking
  • Christie Place Commuter Garage, 64 East Parkway — 8-hour parking available after 11 a.m.

Drivers who regularly cut through Boniface Circle should plan alternate routes from July 30 through Aug. 1.

The Scarsdale Business Alliance coordinates the sale and posts vendor and programming updates on its Facebook page (@scarsdalebusiness) and Instagram (@scarsdalebusiness). Residents with questions about road closures or parking can call the Village Manager's Office at 914-722-1110.

The Village's official calendar describes the three-day event as transforming downtown Scarsdale into a pedestrian-friendly shopping destination, with businesses lining Boniface Circle.
