Bronxville's Concordia Conservatory is one of 81 Westchester organizations sharing $1.025 million in arts grants announced Monday by ArtsWestchester.
The conservatory, a music education center at 171 White Plains Road serving more than 1,500 students, will receive $4,000 through the 2026-27 Arts Access Support for Organizations program. Thirteen of the 81 recipients are getting county arts funding for the first time.
County Executive Ken Jenkins framed the grants as an economic investment too — supporting local jobs, attracting visitors, and strengthening the county's economy — while ArtsWestchester CEO Kathleen Reckling said the program reflects a commitment to expanding arts access countywide.
In 2025-26, Scarsdale and Bronxville organizations received ArtsWestchester funding in other categories, including Hoff-Barthelson Music School ($31,000), Hudson Ballet Theatre ($3,000), and Bronxville's Actors Conservatory Theatre ($2,500). It's not yet confirmed whether those groups applied for this year's Arts Access grants.
