The Town of Eastchester's free outdoor concert series at Lake Isle closes Wednesday, Aug. 26, with classic rock cover band Faded Vinyl taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. on the driving range.
The show caps a summer of Wednesday-night music at the Lake Isle Country Club, 660 White Plains Road. Faded Vinyl, sponsored by the Eastchester Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce, covers hits and deep cuts from the 1960s through the 1990s. The Aug. 26 date is a reschedule from earlier in the summer, according to the Lake Isle Country Club events page.
The band bills itself as striking a balance between well-known classic rock anthems and overlooked favorites from those decades.
Before the Lake Isle finale, the Seeing Red Band plays Chester Heights Park on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the same Town of Eastchester series. The high-energy group spans disco, pop, Motown, country and Top 40, based on prior concert listings. Both shows are free.
The town's official concert page also lists a Thursday, Aug. 27, show at Leewood Park, though the performer for that date has not been announced. Whether that Leewood Park event is part of the Lake Isle series or a separate neighborhood concert is unclear.
All Lake Isle concerts are held on the driving range and begin at 7:30 p.m. No registration is required. For questions, contact the Town of Eastchester at (914) 771-3300.
