Custom framing company Framebridge has opened its first Westchester County store on Pondfield Road in Bronxville.
The store welcomes walk-ins and accepts item drop-offs without an appointment, according to the company's store page.
Customers bring in art, photographs or other physical items and select from a range of frame styles and mats on-site. The shop handles pieces up to 40 inches by 60 inches.
Westchester Magazine reported on Sept. 16 that the brand had recently arrived in the area. Writer Alli Dempsey described Framebridge as a popular custom framing business and noted the Bronxville shop is the company's first Westchester location. The report did not include a specific opening date.
The Pondfield Road storefront puts Framebridge in the heart of Bronxville's commercial district, alongside the village's mix of boutiques, restaurants and service shops.
Pondfield Road has seen steady retail turnover in recent years, and the addition of a national framing brand fills a niche that had no dedicated competitor on the block.
Framebridge offers custom framing for a wide variety of items beyond traditional artwork. Customers can frame jerseys, textiles, maps and other memorabilia, choosing borders and mats in the store before leaving the item for completion.
Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The store is open seven days a week on Pondfield Road in Bronxville.
