A Humanistic Judaism Q&A and Concert is coming to the Eastchester area on Saturday, August 8, at 1:00 pm, giving residents a chance to explore a non-theistic approach to Jewish identity through music and open conversation.
The event's exact location will be disclosed only to ticket holders, according to the Bronxville Patch community calendar. No ticket price or performer has been publicly listed.
The Westchester Community for Humanistic Judaism, led by Rabbi Frank Tamburello and based at 84 Sprague Road in Scarsdale, is the area's only congregation in the movement, which celebrates Jewish identity through culture and human reason rather than prayer.

The Eastchester Summer Concert Series continues Wednesday, August 5, at 7:30 pm with the Bookends Band in Eastchester. The concerts are free.
The Eastchester Environmental Committee meets Thursday, August 6, at 7:30 pm.
On Wednesday, August 12, the Town of Eastchester's Garth Road Concert features Live for the Music Band, a Bad Company tribute act, at 7:30 pm on the basketball courts. Food will be available from Slice of Scarsdale, and the town flyer advises attendees to bring a chair or blanket. The Garth Road Cooperative Council and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate/Choice Realty are sponsoring the show.
The Eastchester Town Board meets Tuesday, August 11, at 7:30 pm. The Eastchester Library Board of Trustees meets the same evening at 6:30 pm.
The Bronxville Farmers Market is open every Saturday through November 21 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at 1 Stone Place. The Scarsdale Farmers Market runs Sundays at 32 Chase Road starting at 8:30 am.
