Seniors 65 and older can catch a free movie every Tuesday afternoon at Picture House Bronxville starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The nonprofit film center's Senior Cinema program returns for its 2026–27 season with screenings at 2:30 p.m. each week through June 2027, the Yonkers Times reported.
The program runs at both the Bronxville and Pelham locations.
Seniors don't need advance tickets. Guests 65 and older pick up a free ticket at the box office before the show.
"Senior Cinema has become such a meaningful part of our community … It gives older adults a reason to get out, connect with friends and neighbors, and share an experience together," said Clayton Bushong, executive director of The Picture House Regional Film Center.
The weekly lineup spans box-office hits, independent films, documentaries and international cinema.
Specific titles for upcoming weeks are posted on the Picture House website.
Seniors who want extras can buy a $55 annual membership, which includes free popcorn at every visit and discounted tickets year-round.
The program draws support from several local backers. Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, whose district office is in Scarsdale, and state Sen. Nathalia Fernandez are both listed as sponsors alongside NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, Mount Sinai Doctors and Jupiter Peak Productions.

In November 2023, The Picture House received a grant from The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe to support Senior Cinema at the Bronxville theater, according to the Pelham Examiner.
Bushong said at the time that the program was drawing more than 100 seniors each week.
Screenings run every Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Picture House Bronxville on Kraft Avenue. More information is available at thepicturehouse.org or by calling (914) 738-7337.
