More than 150 vehicles will fill Scarsdale's Village Center on Sunday, Oct. 4, for the annual Concours d'Elegance charity car show. The display of new and vintage cars runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of Chase Road and Christie Place.
Admission is a suggested $15 donation.
Proceeds benefit local charitable organizations, according to the Village of Scarsdale's civic alert issued Oct. 1. The show's official website describes its mission as supporting local charities, though specific 2026 beneficiaries are not listed.
Road closures take effect four hours before the show opens. Chase Road between Popham Road and Christie Place, Spencer Place, Boniface Circle and Harwood Court will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free parking is available in Christie Place Garage and on nearby streets outside the closure zone.
The Scarsdale Farmers Market will not operate on Oct. 4. It returns Oct. 11, alongside the rescheduled Rock the 'Dale event.
The show also coincides with Westchester County's Bicycle Sundays program, which opens the Bronx River Parkway to cyclists on select Sundays. Westchester Parks said on X that the parkway is open to riders from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 4. The Village Center sits at the route's midpoint, so cyclists heading into the village should plan around the road closures, which extend an hour past the Bicycle Sundays window.
An event listing on Car Collectors Club describes the day as including live music, vendor booths and food alongside the vehicle display.
The Concours d'Elegance dates to 2003, when two Scarsdale High School sophomores, Evan M. Cygler and Dennis O'Leary III, launched the show with help from the Scarsdale Police Department and village officials. For questions, residents can contact the Village Manager's Office at 914-722-1110 or the show organizers at [email protected] or (914) 714-3095.
Coming up: The Farmers Market and Rock the 'Dale return to the Village Center on Sunday, Oct. 11.
