Scarsdale's Zoning Board of Appeals has a full agenda before taking the rest of the summer off.
The board meets Wednesday, July 22, at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 1001 Post Road, to consider five applications ranging from home additions to a synagogue pergola. The next meeting isn't scheduled until Sept. 9.
Among the cases:
- 25 Crossway: Proposal for a second-story addition requiring a floor area ratio (FAR) variance.
- 139 White Road: Request for a second-floor addition that requires both a rear-yard setback and FAR variance.
- 10 Oak Lane: Front-yard setback variance for a new foyer.
- 18 Richbell Road: Special permit for a swimming pool and spa.
- Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont + Emanu-El, 2 Ogden Road: Side-yard setback variance to build a pergola.
Three of the applications are continuations of earlier public hearings, while two will be heard for the first time.
Residents can attend the meeting in person, review application materials, or submit comments through the village's Planning Department.
