Two seats on the Bronxville School Board will open up, and the village's volunteer nominating committee wants to hear from residents willing to serve.

The Bronxville Non-Partisan Committee (NPC) launched its 2026–2027 cycle at an Oct. 6 meeting, MyHometownBronxville.com reported.

The committee's top priority: finding and vetting candidates for the two board seats being vacated by Susan Conniff and Miki Kapoor. Both members' terms expire in 2027, according to the NPC's website.

The NPC is a volunteer organization with a 90-year history in Bronxville.

Its 21 members evaluate prospective nominees and put forward two candidates for the school board.

The current seven-member board includes Edward Lennon as president and Sara Kenny as vice president, along with Conniff, Kapoor, Christina Skinner, Michael Brandes and Peter McSherry.

Residents interested in being considered for nomination can contact the NPC Executive Committee confidentially through bronxvillenpc.org.
